Acceptance of Terms:

By accessing UpDating, you agree to comply with these Terms. Unlike traditional dating apps, UpDating focuses on facilitating real-life dates between verified users. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use UpDating. Your use of the app indicates acceptance of our commitment to real connections and safety-first approach.

Eligibility:

You must be at least 18 years old to use UpDating. All users must complete our mandatory government ID verification process before accessing the platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this agreement. You also confirm that you are legally single/available for dating and have no history of criminal offenses.

User Obligations: 

• Complete Verification: Submit to our comprehensive verification process, including government ID and photo verification.
• Provide Accurate Information: Ensure all registration details, photos, and profile information are current and truthful.
• Honor Commitments: Respect the date reservation system and commitment fee structure.
• Maintain Appropriate Conduct: Behave respectfully at partner venues and towards other users.

 

Prohibited activities include:

• False Representation: Providing incorrect verification documents or misleading profile information.
• Date Avoidance: Failing to appear for confirmed dates or attempting to bypass the commitment fee system.
• Inappropriate Behavior: Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful conduct during dates or in communications.
• System Manipulation: Attempting to circumvent our verification or payment systems.

 

Date Commitment System:

The foundation of UpDating is our unique commitment system. When you arrange a date, both parties must provide a commitment fee. This fee is refundable with 24-hour notice of cancellation and helps ensure genuine intentions. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in account suspension and fee forfeiture.

 

Venue Partnership Protocol:

UpDating partners with select venues to ensure safe, quality dating experiences. Our algorithm assigns venues based on user preferences and safety considerations. Users must accept the assigned venue and follow all venue-specific guidelines. The first drink at partner venues is included in our service.

 

Safety Protocols:

Your safety is our primary concern. UpDating implements a comprehensive safety system including mandatory ID verification, secure venue partnerships, and real-time support. During dates, partner venue staff are aware of UpDating meetings and can provide assistance if needed. We maintain emergency contact protocols and monitor user behavior to ensure a safe dating environment for everyone.

 

Payment and Refund Policy:

Our commitment fee system is designed to ensure genuine interactions. When scheduling a date, both parties must provide a commitment fee which is held securely. This fee is fully refundable with proper cancellation notice (minimum 24 hours). Late cancellations, no-shows, or inappropriate behavior may result in fee forfeiture. All payments are processed through secure, encrypted systems.

 

Account Management:

Your UpDating account represents you in our community. We require:

  • Prompt responses to verification requests
  • Timely communication regarding date arrangements
  • Responsible management of commitments and cancellations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• • Fail to maintain verification standards
  • Repeatedly cancel or miss dates
  • Receive multiple behavior complaints
  • Violate our community guidelines

 

Communication Guidelines:

UpDating facilitates meaningful connections by:

• • Limiting chat functionality until a date is confirmed
  • Focusing on real-world meetings rather than endless messaging
  • Prohibiting sharing of personal contact information before meeting
  • Monitoring communications for inappropriate content
  • Encouraging direct, respectful interaction

 

Intellectual Property Rights:

All content, features, and functionality within UpDating, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, and software, are the exclusive property of GRaHMuR Innovations Pvt. Ltd. Users are granted a limited license solely for personal, non-commercial use of the platform.

 

Dispute Resolution:

All disputes arising from the use of UpDating shall be resolved through:

• • Initial review by our customer support team
  • Formal investigation of reported incidents
  • Fair evaluation of both parties’ accounts
  • Mediation when necessary
  • Final binding decisions by our review board

Disputes shall be handled in accordance with Indian law, with jurisdiction in Bangalore courts.
